ANNOUNCES ACOUSTIC EP TO COME OUT ON 10.13 HERE
Fresh after producing Charli XCX’s “Speed Drive” track for Barbie The Album, having exec-produced Bree Runway’s EP WOAH, WHAT A BLUR, and as Thy Slaughter with A. G. Cook, EASYFUN is finally sharing new solo music again.
The artist / producer EASYFUN (Finn Keane) has released his 6-track ELECTRIC EP and announces the immediate follow up release EP called ACOUSTIC to be released on October 13th via PC Music. “No Body”, the single for the ELECTRIC EP was written with Charli XCX, Patrik Berger (Robyn’s “Dancing On My Own”), Noonie Bao, and A. G. Cook.
EASYFUN adds: “ACOUSTIC is a new EASYFUN. “Know Who You Are” from ELECTRIC says it all. More vocals, more guitars.” The track functions as a definitive juncture where the two worlds of ELECTRIC and ACOUSTICcollide, where sound-wave becomes reverberating guitar string.
Three fun facts: Yes, EASYFUN’s self-titled EP was PC Music’s first ever release 10 years ago. True, “No Body” was created in the same session as Charli XCX’s “Official”. And no, the ACOUSTIC EP is not simply acoustic versions of the ELECTRIC EP. It’ll have five brand new tracks and one cover.
