Singer/songwriter Ella Mai will release her debut album on October 12th. Simply titled, Ella Mai, it will help to continue the movement of the return of R&B music.
Her single Boo'd Up has been a smash as it is currently 3 times platinum. Her latest single, trip, is climbing the R&B/Hip-Hop Airplay chart and is currently perched at #23.
Ella Mai has also been nominated for two American Music Awards:
- Favorite Female Artist Soul/R&B
- Favorite Song Soul/R&B
The nominations are for her runaway hit, "Boo'd Up." She will join Bruno Mars next month on his 24K Magic World Tour, kicking off her run in Brooklyn, NY at the Barclays Center on October 4th.
