Poolside

Launching January 19 in Santa Barbara, CA, the 22 date ‘Blame It All On Love Tour’will take Poolside’s Jeffrey Paradise--who can be found on guitar / vocals / synths – and bandmates Vito Roccoforte (The Rapture / Body Music) on drums, Mattie Safer (The Rapture / Lovetempo) on bass / vocals, Casey Butler (Pharaohs) on saxophone / lap steel / percussion / vocals and Alton San Giovanni (Alton Allen) – guitar / vocals across the continent in support of his latest music.  On Poolside’s fourth studio album Blame It All On Love (Ninja Tune/Counter Records), Paradise leaves the shallows and enters the depths of his own creative voice. Its 11 tracks which include are funky, soulful, laidback and full of hooks that elevate Poolside’s sound to poignant pop heights. Listen to NPR’s album pick for 2023 Blame It All On Love here.

Poolside is the recording project of producer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Jeffrey Paradise. In 2011 Poolside set out to produce appropriately chill music for summer soirees, a light but danceable kind of music with sunny vibes and liquid rhythm that he dubbed "Daytime Disco." Since then, Poolside has released four acclaimed albums – Pacific Standard Time (2012), Heat (2017), Low Season (2020) and Blame It All On Love (2023) – remixed countless high-profile acts such as Billy Idol, Jack Johnson & Milky Chance, DRAMA, Miami Horror, L'impératrice, Purple Disco Machine, Big Wild and more. Poolside has also recently collaborated with Todd Edwards, NEIL FRANCES, Brijean and Buscabulla. Poolside’s live band has supported Kacey Musgraves, Earth, Wind & Fire and Tycho along with performing at major music festivals including Coachella, Primavera, Outside Lands, Lollapalooza and Corona Capital. Poolside’s cover of Neil Young’s classic “Harvest Moon” - which they made a one-of-a-kind 12-inch just for James Murphy (LCD Soundsystem) and halted the pressing of the album to include in on their debut album Pacific Standard Time – has been streamed over 107M times.

Peter Hook & The Light

Peter Hook & The Light set off on a massive run of live shows in 2024, taking in full tours of Australia and New Zealand, North America and the UK and Ireland. The live dates will see the band play the Substance albums by Joy Division and New Order in full.  Peter Hook first revisited the seminal Joy Division album Unknown Pleasuresback in May 2010 for a commemorative charity concert and has followed it each year by performing subsequent albums from the repertoire of his bands, Joy Division and New Order. Peter Hook & The Light have since moved through each of those albums, culminating in the Factory Records Substance compilations, and recently celebrated over four decades of the continuing influence of Joy Division and Ian Curtis with the “Joy Division: A Celebration” concerts where both of the band’s albums were played in full. In October 2023 the band then played the Substancealbums at the biggest-ever London concert at the 5300-capacity Eventim Apollo. Tickets available here: https://peterhookandthelight.live.
