SLANDER are no strangers to cultivating new talents. On “Getting Late”—released December 31 on their label Heaven Sent as a surprise for fans—Andersen and Land pair themselves with emerging Los Angeles producer if found for an enthralling melodic bass dancefloor track featuring newcomer Danni Carra.
To launch “Getting Late” SLANDER dropped the brand new track during their mainstage performance at Dallas’ Lights All Night festival simultaneously with its appearance on streaming platforms. This unexpected release was sweetened by the song's collaborator if found joining SLANDER on stage to perform it with them. Traditionally, SLANDER launches new singles in their sets weeks before setting them for release.
2021 has been an extremely productive year for SLANDER’s Derek Andersen and Scott Land. As current leaders in American dance music, the DJ/Producer duo released several singles including “When I’m With You,” “Gravity” with Subtronics & JT Roach, “Miss You” with Ganja White Night and a star-studded remix package featuring Tiesto, Armin Van Buuren, Kaskade, R3HAB and ALOK of their 2019 smash “Love Is Gone.” To top off the year, SLANDER have teamed with if found on “Getting Late” featuring Danni Carra.
