Ahead of her debut album, Therapy, out on November 3rd, Zoe Wees, returns with her stunning new single, “Sorry For The Drama” today via Capitol Records. You can listen to the new single HERE.

The daring new single doubles as an apology and a love letter to her mother who raised her in a single-parent household, with just the love and care of a good parent. Prior to its release, “Sorry For The Drama” had already caught the hearts of Zoe’s fans, whom she lovingly referred to as WINGS, and others as it garnered 7 million views and counting on TikTok.

Coming from a heart-wrenching place, Zoe had a lot to say about the meaning of the song. “In 'Sorry for the Drama', I reflect on a past where I longed for what I didn't have, chasing after illusions of wealth and status,” Zoesaid. “It's a heartfelt apology to my mom and a crucial part of my therapeutic journey, where I confront and make peace with my history. This song represents a deep understanding that genuine riches lie in love and resilience, not material possessions. It's a journey back to my roots, cherishing life's simple moments while recognizing the power of self-reflection and healing."

As Zoe heads onto this new chapter of her career with her debut album, Therapy, she’s excited to share her story and truth with the world. Known for her honest songwriting, Therapy promises to delve further into that profound emotional journey of self-discovery, healing, and resilience. Through her poignant lyrics and powerful vocals, Zoe takes listeners on a therapeutic musical exploration, addressing personal struggles, triumphs, and the complex emotions that shape our lives. Zoe adds, “I wanted Therapy to be a musical journey that explores the path to healing through my own experiences. These songs are my way of processing anxiety disorders, panic attacks, and the traumas I endured as a child. Music has been my therapy, and I hope this album can be a source of comfort and strength for others."
